Honeywell STT173 Intelligent Temperature Transmitter STT170 Temperature Module


The STT170 is Honeywell’s economy-tier family of temperature transmitters to flank the existing mid-tier STT700 and high-tier STT750 & STT850 temperature transmitters. It helps convert low level signals from temperature sensors such as RTDs and TCs into current signals and is capable of transmitting long distances through noisy plant environments. The STT170 line consists of three temperature transmitters and one configuration tool.


1. High precision measurement: The STT173 intelligent temperature transmitter adopts a high-precision AD converter and a low-temperature drift RTC, with a temperature measurement accuracy of up to 0.1%
2. Multiple sensor inputs: This transmitter supports thermal resistance, thermocouple, resistance value or millivolt input, suitable for various temperature sensor application scenarios
3. Automatic Linearization: Within the upper and lower limit intervals set by the user, the temperature signal output is automatically linearized to ensure measurement accuracy
4. Alarm function: Users can program high and low limit alarm points and issue alarm signals when sensors malfunction
5. Electrical isolation: It has electrical isolation function to ensure the safe operation of equipment
6. Flexible configuration: The STT17C configuration tool and PC computer can be used for configuration, supporting online modification of temperature measurement signal types and input ranges
7. Wide temperature and wide humidity environment adaptation: The product can work continuously and normally in a wide temperature and wide humidity environment, with a high level of protection
