The Rosemount 3051TG Intelligent Pressure Transmitter is primarily used for absolute pressure measurement, suitable for calibration range of 0.3 to 10000psi, supporting two measurement modes: gauge pressure and absolute pressure.
This product transmits pressure through high and low voltage isolation diaphragms and filling liquid, and uses capacitance changes to detect displacement to achieve pressure signal conversion, with an accuracy of ± 0.075% FS.
During operation, the isolation diaphragm and filling fluid on the high and low pressure sides transmit the process pressure to the filling fluid, which then transmits the pressure to the sensing diaphragm at the center of the sensor.
The sensing diaphragm is a tensioned elastic element whose displacement varies with the pressure applied. The maximum displacement of the sensing diaphragm is 0.004 inches (0.1 millimeters), and the displacement is proportional to the pressure. The position of the sensing membrane is detected by the capacitive plates on both sides. The difference in capacitance between the sensing diaphragm and the capacitor plate is converted into corresponding current, voltage, or digital HART output signal.
